The new Jio prepaid plans or tariffs or revisions in the plan prices if you will are “with respect to further strengthen a sustainable telecommunication industry as per commitment,” Jio said in its statement. Also said that will continue to provide eco-friendly prepaid plans with the best-quality service globally with no interruption.
Unlike Airtel and Vodafone Idea Limited, both of the companies have justified the hike in the prepaid plans as a measure to increase their ARPU, and in turn profit margins. Here, ARPU stands for average revenue per user. Jio has not given any reasons or excuses for this change. Meanwhile, users might get the new plans or plan benefits altogether with a new tariff list.
